Privacy notice

1. Data controller

2. What we process and why

2.1 Contact form and email enquiries

• Data: name, email address, area of interest (software, marketing or both), project budget (optional), message, time of submission.
• Purpose: replying to your enquiry, preparing a quote, preparing a contract, and sending an automatic confirmation of receipt to the email address you provided.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Retention: 1 year after the enquiry is closed. If a contract is concluded, for the period required by the contract and by law (e.g. accounting rules).

2.2 Bot and abuse protection

• Data: IP address, browser and device characteristics, the Cloudflare Turnstile verification result.
• Purpose: preventing automated abuse of the form (spam, attacks).
• Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) – security of the service.
• Retention: for the duration of the check; we do not store it.

2.3 Server logs

• Data: IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser details.
• Purpose: operating the website, debugging, security.
• Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Retention: according to the hosting provider's log retention period.

2.4 Visitor statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies, on aggregated data, and cannot identify individual visitors.

3. Processors

Transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or, where not available, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing.

4. Cookies

This website does not set cookies: the language is part of the URL, and visitor statistics work without cookies. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent. If this changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, or restriction of its processing; exercise your right to data portability; and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to hello@projectscaffolder.hu – we reply within one month.

6. Remedies

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH; 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9; email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; www.naih.hu) or with the data protection authority of your EU member state, or go to court.
