Code review & quality audit

An independent, code-level quality audit of your software: where the security gaps, performance problems and hard-to-maintain parts are, and what to fix first.

What you get

  1. Architecture overview: module boundaries, dependencies and risks for future growth
  2. Security check: vulnerable packages, secrets left in code and permission flaws
  3. Performance and database review to find slow queries and bottlenecks
  4. Assessment of test coverage and the release pipeline (CI/CD)
  5. Findings ranked by severity, each with a concrete, actionable fix

Deliverables

  • Written audit report with executive summary
  • Findings list ranked by severity
  • Fix plan with effort estimates
  • Walkthrough session with your developers

How it works

  1. Access & goals

We ask for read access to the repository and clarify what you need: a health check before a takeover, a pre-release review or ongoing quality.

  2. Review

We combine automated analysis with manual code reading and tie every finding to a specific piece of code.

  3. Report & walkthrough

We hand over a written report, walk you through it in a meeting and, on request, implement the fixes as well.

FAQ

How is this different from an IT review?

An IT review assesses your whole IT environment, processes and vendors. A code review goes deep into one codebase and examines its architecture, security and tests down to the detail.

Which languages and frameworks do you review?

Mainly TypeScript, JavaScript, Python and PHP web and backend systems, plus other modern languages. If a technology is outside our experience, we tell you at the start.

Do you treat our source code as confidential?

Yes. We only ask for read access, sign an NDA on request and ask for our access to be removed when the review ends.

  • AI adoption & strategy

Assessment, use cases and a rollout plan for Anthropic Claude and OpenAI ChatGPT, with data protection rules and team training.

  • Agent workflows & automation

AI agents that call tools, move data between systems and complete multi-step tasks, with approval checkpoints, guardrails and logging.

  • AI assistants & document processing

Assistants that answer from your own knowledge base, customer support chat and document processing: data extraction from invoices, contracts and forms.

  • Technical documentation

Architecture overviews, API references, runbooks and developer onboarding for existing codebases, versioned alongside the code.

  • Test automation & QA

Unit, integration and end-to-end tests, accessibility checks and quality gates in your CI pipeline, for new or existing software.
